A Special Screening of “The Corner”

Please join us for a special screening of “The Corner,” a short documentary which shares the story of Coach Daysi Garcia and the kids of the PUC Excel Charter Academy Boxing Club. Through her dedication and mentorship, Coach Daysi plays a pivotal role in the lives of her young athletes, helping them develop both their boxing skills and personal growth.

Following the screening, we will host a conversation with Coach Daysi Garcia, LA84 Foundation President & CEO Renata Simril and Olympic Gold Medalist and accomplished water polo athlete Brenda Villa, discussing the impact of youth sports on communities.
